Candidate Evaluation Techniques

Aside to traditional interview techniques which can often be subjective if used in isolation, Appono can provide a number of additional evaluation tools to support the decision making process.

The use of competency based interviewing offers a consistent method to assess the skills or competencies required by a candidate to perform a role within the business. All candidates will be asked to demonstrate these competencies through the provision of situation based examples, before a report is compiled measuring their suitability.

The application of psychometric tools can be beneficial to a number of key stages in the recruitment process; from the original design of the brief, through to understanding a candidate's motivation or behavioural style and ultimately their suitability for a role.

Finally, through the use of a detailed reference template, Appono is able to provide an impartial account of a candidate's capability. It can be tailored to measure a number of key areas in a candidate profile; from exhibiting certain competencies through to understanding behaviour or management style. By engaging a number of candidate referees, a truly 360° view can be taken.
